Après quelques jours de repos sur Koh Phangan où le plus gros de nos effort consistait a marcher du bungalow à la plage ou la piscine (50m) nous voila à Krabi sur la plage de Railay. Une des premières choses qui change ici c'est l'absence de port d'embarquement : on nous dépose dans la flotte puis on part à la recherche d'un endroit où dormir. On est restés 3 jours dans un bungalow très simple en bambou.
L'escalade est l'attraction numéro 1 sur les plages de Railey, les récifs longent la cote et on voit, ici et là, des locaux et touristes jouer les spidermans. La majorité du temps, un poste radio joue du Bob Marley aux alentours : la culture y est très "Rasta Thai" comme on aime l'appeller.
L'ambiance est ultra zen et ça fait du bien, l'endroit est encore très rustique et bordé de mangroves. Certains chemins ( plutot sportifs ) ont été aménagés et permettent d'accéder à des sommets avec de beaux points de vue et lagons.
Prochaine étape Koh Lanta.

After a few relaxing days in Koh Phangan we decided to head to Krabi on Railay beach.
One of the first different things here is the absence of pier: we got drop directly in the water before looking for a place to sleep. We stayed three days in a very simple bamboo bungalow.
Climbing is the the attraction number one in Railey. As soon as you get on the beach you can see here and there locals and tourists playing spidermans. Most of the time a sound of Bob Marley give the ryhmic to these folk : the culture is very "Rasta Thai" as we like to call it.
The atmosphere is very zen and it feels good, the place is still very rustic and surrounded by mangroves. Some walking tracks (quite challenging ) provide access to summits with beautiful views and lagoons : A must to do if you want a stunning view of the surrounding !
Koh Lanta will be next step.
