On ne se lasse jamais de Singapoure, la ville offre son lot nouveautés à chaque passage et a vraiment des allures "Hight Tech" comparé à toutes les autres grandes villes asiatiques. On avait prevu de rester 3 jours, on y est resté 4 et on aurait pu y passer 2 jours de plus.
Notre guesthouse se trouve non loin du quartier "Little India" car Singapoure reste assez cher ( On s'était renseignés pour le Marina Bay Hotel : Bilan 300 euros la nuit ...outch ) . L'efficacité des transport publics nous permet quand même d'aller presque partout en moins de 10 minutes. La propreté des lieux publics est juste bluffantes ici , on mangerait à même le sol dans le métro et il y a une raison à tout ça : Interdit de cracher , Interdit de fumer , Interdit de manger et boire dans les transport et bien sur Interdit de jeter quoi que ca soit au sol sous peine d'amende sévère ou de coups de bâtons :)
Singapoure est avant tout une ville nocturne où la majorité des attractions débute vers 20h et pour cause les journées sont étouffantes : On se promène donc non loin de Marina Bay , Boat Bay et Clarque Quay qui sont de très bon spots pour les photos. Nos journées sont consacrées aux derniers achats avant l'Australie, à quelques promenades dans le Chinatown et Le Fort Canyon Parc et enfin à la recherche désespérée de Durian ( Le Fruit des Dieux comme ils l'appellent ici ) : On en a trouvé le dernier jour pour se rendre compte que c'est vraiment pas bon.
C'est donc notre dernier jour sur le continent Asiatique et on y aura passé 161 jours ( presque 5 mois et demi ). Direction l'Australie dés demain matin pour 8 semaines !!!

We had planned to stay 3 days in Singapore and finally stayed 4. Actually, we could have booked a few extra nights : We never get tired of this fantastic place and it does surprise us every time we go there. Our guesthouse was located in the "Little India " area which is cheaper than the other suburbs ( We tried to check in at the Marina Bay Hotel but it was 300 euros over our daily budget ...outch ...) . The efficiency of the plublic transport was just amazing, we could get almost everywhere in less than 10 minutes so "Little India" was the perfect deal for budget traveller like us.
There are a few funny fact about Singapore : It's prohibited to spit, to smoke, to eat and to drink in most of the public area and people takes it seriously. So at the end of the day , it's very clean everywhere you go.
The night life is quite big here ( the days are actually very hot and humid ) and we spent most of our evening around Marina Bay, Boat Bay and Clarque Quay which are very good spots for photography. The days are spent around Chinatown and Fort Canyon Park where we try to get as much cool air as we can and try to buy some Durian ( The fruit of the god as they called it ). Well , the Durian was really disgusting :)
This is our last day on the Asian continent where we have spent exactly 161 days (almost 5 months an a half). We will head for Australia tomorrow morning where we will be for the next 8
weeks!
